        1. Returns, Cancellations, and Nonconforming Products<\/h6>\n

        Product returns are governed by the specific provisions of these Terms and Conditions of Sale, which apply depending on the type of Customer and the reason for the return.<\/p>\n

        For Consumer Customers (B2C)<\/strong>, the right of withdrawal is governed by the section titled \u201cConsumer Right of Withdrawal (B2C)\u201d<\/strong> in these Terms and Conditions, in accordance with Articles 52 et seq. of Legislative Decree 206\/2005 (Consumer Code). <\/p>\n

        In the event of a lack of conformity<\/strong>, the Consumer Customer is entitled to the statutory warranty provided for in Articles 128 et seq. of the Consumer Code. The consumer is entitled to the remedies provided by law, in accordance with the conditions and procedures set forth therein. <\/p>\n

        For Professional Customers (B2B)<\/strong>, the right of withdrawal provided for in Articles 52 et seq. of the Consumer Code does not apply. Returns may be made only in the cases provided for by law, by these Terms of Sale, or based on a specific written agreement with THE METER S.r.l. <\/p>\n

        Any additional commercial warranties expressly offered by THE METER S.r.l. remain in effect, subject to the relevant terms and conditions.<\/p>\n

        3.Guarantees<\/h6>\n

        Pursuant to Articles 128\u2013135 of the Consumer Code, the seller is liable to the consumer for any lack of conformity that exists at the time of delivery of the goods and that becomes apparent within two years of delivery. An action to enforce defects not maliciously concealed by the seller is prescribed, in any case, within twenty-six months after delivery of the goods. It is presumed that the lack of conformity that becomes apparent within one year after delivery of the good already existed on that date, unless this assumption is inconsistent with the nature of the good or the nature of the lack of conformity. A consumer who wishes to assert a warranty under the Consumer Code can contact THE METER by filling out the appropriate form<\/a> <\/p>\n

         <\/p>\n

        Shipping of THE METER varies by geographic region. Delivery is within 3 to 5 working days throughout the country, unless specifically indicated in the purchase order and in any case within the legal terms prescribed by the Consumer Code. For shipments to foreign countries, the price and shipping time will vary depending on the destination. <\/p>\n

        Purchase orders are processed within 1\/2 business days after payment is credited\/received.<\/p>\n

        Shipments are made throughout Italy with insurance covering the value of the goods purchased. In case of loss or damage of the products during transportation, the buyer will be protected free of charge by THE METER’s insurance. <\/p>\n

         <\/p>\n

        Upon successful shipment, an e-mail notification will be sent to the address provided at the time of purchase, in which information on the date of shipment and, if applicable, the tracking number useful for monitoring the status of the delivery will be provided.<\/p>\n

        In the event of non-delivery, the buyer will be contacted at the phone number or e-mail, or otherwise at the reference provided in the purchase order, by customer service to arrange a delivery date, if no further delivery attempts by the contracted courier are planned.<\/p>\n

        Delivery is during office hours (9 a.m.-6 p.m.) to the address provided. In this regard, it is recommended that the buyer provide as accurate information as possible in reference to the recipient, delivery address, telephone number, so that he or she can enjoy a timely delivery, without any unforeseen circumstances. <\/p>\n

        Please note that THE METER cannot in any way require the courier to contact the buyer before delivery, nor can THE METER specify a time for delivery.<\/p>\n

        At the time of delivery and before signing the package delivery document, the buyer has the burden of verifying that:<\/p>\n

        \u2981 the number of packages delivered corresponds to what is stated in the order confirmation e-mail;<\/p>\n

        \u2981 the packaging is intact and undamaged.<\/p>\n

         <\/p>\n

        Only after these verifications can the buyer accept the delivery and sign the relevant document. Once the courier’s document has been signed, no objection can be made about the external characteristics of what has been delivered. <\/p>\n

        If any damage or errors are found in the shipment, the buyer may refuse the delivery and raise a dispute directly with the courier, at the same time sending an informative e-mail to THE METER customer service. Any problems concerning the integrity, correspondence or completeness of the products received must be reported to THE METER within 5 days of delivery. <\/p>\n

        Delivery date is defined as the date given by the express carrier.<\/p>\n

        2.Conditions of sale<\/h6>\n

        The terms contained in these general conditions do not deprive the purchaser, if a consumer, of the rights conferred by the applicable mandatory rules, including the rights and actions under Leg.

        3. Consumer Right of Withdrawal (B2C)<\/h6>\n

        The right of withdrawal governed by this article applies exclusively to Customers who qualify as consumers<\/strong>, that is, natural persons acting for purposes unrelated to their entrepreneurial, commercial, artisanal, or professional activities, pursuant to Legislative Decree 206\/2005 (Consumer Code). <\/p>\n

        Subject to the exceptions provided for by law, the consumer has the right to cancel contracts concluded at a distance or negotiated outside of business premises within 14 days<\/strong>, without having to provide any reason, in accordance with Articles 52 et seq. of the Consumer Code.<\/p>\n

        The 14-day period begins:<\/p>\n

        (a) in the case of a sales contract for a single item, from the day on which the consumer or a third party\u2014other than the carrier and designated by the consumer\u2014takes physical possession of the item;<\/p>\n

        (b) in the case of a sales contract for multiple items purchased in a single order and delivered separately, from the day on which the consumer or a third party\u2014other than the carrier and designated by the consumer\u2014takes physical possession of the last item;<\/p>\n

        (c) in the case of a sales contract for the delivery of goods consisting of multiple lots or items, from the day on which the consumer or a third party, other than the carrier and designated by the consumer, takes physical possession of the last lot or item.<\/p>\n

        BUSINESS CUSTOMERS (B2B)<\/strong><\/p>\n

        The right of withdrawal provided for in Articles 52 et seq. of the Consumer Code does not apply to purchases made by companies, businesses, organizations, professionals, or other entities acting for purposes related to their entrepreneurial, commercial, artisanal, or professional activities<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

        For such purchases, any returns may be authorized by THE METER S.r.l. solely on the basis of a specific written commercial agreement and do not constitute an exercise of the right of withdrawal provided for by the Consumer Code.<\/p>\n

        PROCEDURE FOR EXERCISING THE RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL IN B2C TRANSACTIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n

        To exercise the right of withdrawal, the consumer must inform THE METER S.r.l. of their decision to withdraw from the contract, within the time limit provided by law, by means of an explicit statement.<\/p>\n

        The consumer may use the Standard Withdrawal Form<\/strong> available at the bottom of this page; however, the use of this form is not a necessary condition for the valid exercise of the right of withdrawal.<\/p>\n

        The right of withdrawal is considered exercised within the prescribed time limit if the consumer sends the relevant notice before the withdrawal period expires.<\/p>\n

        4.EFFECTS OF WITHDRAWAL<\/h6>\n

        The consumer must return the goods to the seller without undue delay and, in any case, within 14 days of the date on which the consumer declared, in the manner specified above, the intention to withdraw from the contract.

        using a carrier of its choice and at its own expense, without undue delay and in any case within the above time limit.
        \nIt remains the responsibility of<\/strong> the purchaser who has exercised the right of withdrawal for the transportation of the products to be returned.
        \nThe purchaser who has exercised the right of withdrawal is responsible for any decrease in the value of the returned goods in the event that it has been manipulated or used in a manner different from that provided for in the instructions for use or in any case not in accordance with the nature, characteristics and operation of the same.<\/strong><\/p>\n

        In any case, the product must be stored, handled and inspected with normal diligence and returned intact, complete in all its parts, fully functional, accompanied by all accessories and instruction leaflets, with the identification tags, labels and disposable seal, where present, still attached to the product and intact and not tampered with, as well as perfectly suitable for its intended use and free of signs of wear or dirt.
        \nIn this regard, please note that: (a) to determine the nature, characteristics, and operation of products, they may be handled and inspected only in the same manner as would be permitted free of charge in a physical store; (b) checks will be made to verify that the product for which the withdrawal has been exercised has not been subjected to handling other than that necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and operation of the product (e.g.: the presence of wear and tear of device shells, etc. will be checked. ).
        \nMoreover, the withdrawal applies to the product in its entirety, including parts and\/or accessories attached to the product, unless these have been specially and separately purchased.
        \nIn the event that on the packaging or packaging of the product is inserted the serial code of the same and \/ or other identification codes of the product, these are to be considered part of the product itself so that, the goods must be returned in the original packaging or packaging properly protected, in any case, with suitable filling materials to avoid damage during transport.

        5. REFUND<\/h6>\n

        In the event that the buyer has decided to exercise the right of withdrawal, THE METER will provide a full refund of the price of the product, including delivery costs, only if the withdrawal has been communicated before the shipment of the same by the carrier appointed by the seller.
        \nIn the event that the withdrawal is communicated after the shipment has already taken place, delivery costs will be charged to the buyer.
        \nIn case of partial withdrawal, for the return of pieces\/lots of the product, the delivery costs will be refunded.
        \nIt remains, in any case, the responsibility of the withdrawing buyer to pay the shipping costs for the return of the goods.
        \nRefunds are made by wire transfer to the payment details provided by the buyer, unless otherwise explicitly agreed between the seller and the buyer.
        \nTransaction costs of the transaction (e.g., bank\/postal transfer fee) will be deducted from the amounts being refunded.
        \nThe refund will be made, without undue delay and in any case within 14 days of receipt of the buyer’s declaration of withdrawal, if the declaration of withdrawal was made before delivery of the goods. Otherwise, in case of withdrawal communicated after the delivery of the goods to the buyer, the refund will be made within 14 days after the return of the goods. <\/p>\n

        6. WARRANTY EXTENSION<\/h6>\n

        Description<\/strong>
        \nThe extended warranty is an optional paid service that provides an additional year of coverage on purchased products, in addition to the statutory legal warranty of conformity. During this period, the same rights and conditions as under the legal warranty are guaranteed. <\/p>\n

        Duration and Effective Date <\/strong>
        \nThe extended warranty has a duration of 12 months and takes effect from the expiration of the standard legal warranty of 24 months or 12 months for professionals and companies.<\/p>\n

        What is Included:<\/strong><\/p>\n

        Free repair or replacement of products in case of conformity defects.<\/p>\n

        Coverage for the same defects already included in the legal guarantee.<\/p>\n

        Exclusions<\/strong>
        \nThe extended warranty does not cover damage caused by improper or nonconforming use.<\/p>\n

        Activation of Service <\/strong>
        \nThe extended warranty must be purchased at the time of product purchase and not afterwards.<\/p>\n

        Methods of Exercise <\/strong>
        \nTo request assistance during the extension period, the customer must contact customer service by providing the order number and proof of purchase of the product.<\/p>\n
